Katrina Relief Sculptures The Katrina Relief Sculptures were Homer’s response to the destruction and the survivors of Hurricane Katrina. After traveling with a small group of volunteers from his community in August of 2006, he created a series of sculptures, and “Biloxi is Baghdad,” was exhibited at Causey Contemporary in Brooklyn, New York.
