HEADS AND PORTRAITS
Homer accepts portrait commissions in drawing and sculpture, always preferring to work from life when possible. He loves the variety of form and gesture from one portrait head to another, choosing models who are Ethiopian, Italian, Chinese, Afghani, and Cajun from the Mississippi Gulf, to name a few illustrated above.
