Beatrice Evelyn Songco Memorial
In 2002, fellow artist and daughter of Beatrice Evelyn Songco approached Homer to sculpt lilac flowers for her mother’s memorial. Homer collaborated with Jeanean Songco Martin and Matthews Bronze in Kingswood, West Virginia, and the bronze and granite memorial was installed in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, Maryland in 2003.
